Whole Note Round-Up

Although I like the photo of the previous version of this painting, it was lacking some focus. I like the added "staff" lines and now it feels right. The staff is trying to capture all the floating bubble whole notes!

The creative wheels have begun to turn. Feels so good.

Getting off the hamster wheel

Today is the first day of summer vacation. I plan to do all the normal chores, plus shop at Target for some organizing bins for school. Just can't quit thinking about school!! I am also going to go through my art supplies and order some fun stuff for my own art.
I have committed to having an exhibition at Dickinson State University Art Gallery next January. I am so excited! Got to get painting and direct all that prodding that I do to my students towards myself.
